Learn to Skate Programs (Pre-CANSkate, CANSkate & Adult/Teen Learn to Skate)
Pre-CANSkate (Ages 3-5)
Program Overview
The Pre-CanSkate program is designed for 3 to 5 year olds who have never skated before, or have very little skating background.
This program focuses on teaching the kids basic movement on the ice without the use of movement aids, enabling them to stand and move with no assistance from the coaches and program assistants.
The emphasis is to get the kids up and moving to prepare them for the CanSkate program.
Pre-CANSkate is 1/2 hour per week and skaters may skate for half the season – Fall Session or Winter Session – or the full skating season. This program is coached by a Skate Canada Professional Coach and trained Program Assistants. Learn more HERE.
